(12.0) Class Matters & Attendance Matters
(12.1) You are advised to attend the online classes, avoid absent unless you need to attend emergency matters. If you absent more than 50%, you will get LOST in your study, even though it is NOT compulsory to attend all the classes.
(12.2) Use a laptop computer to attend classes. Avoid using handphone if possible (because not clear) & difficult to share screen.
(12.3) Avoid driving when attending classes (safety issue).
(12.4) Turn-on camera, so that the lecturer & your classmates can see you, know you & can make friend with you
(12.5) You are encouraged to ask questions during classes & using Zoom to ask questions. Even better to use Zoom to share screen to clear explanation.
(12.6) Avoid register a few courses at the same time (a few teachers, not all). You as a full time teacher, some have family & young children, you have limited time to study a few courses at the same time. Once you loose focus, you will give up your study very soon. My advice is stay focus on JUST ONE course only, one step at a time.
(12.7) Get well prepared before the class. Read the learning materials, watch the recorded videos (prepared by the lecturer), ask the lecturer during classes.
(12.8) Try to do the assignments before the class, and ask the lecturer for explanation.
(12.9) Fully utilise the class time & stay focus
(12.10) Study hard, study smart & enjoy learning
Problems that can be avoided if you take actions, you do something about it !!!
(13.1) Offer Letter
(13.2) Student ID No, Matrix No
Write down the Student ID Number (Matrix No) in a piece of paper & safekeep properly. You need to use the Student ID No from time to time during your study.
(13.3) Bookmark web-link
Bookmark the web-link (Shingo website & the university portal) at your computer (laptop) (Google Chrome). Do not leave the link at whatsApp because the web-link will disappear after a few days at whatsApp.
Note: Some of you might change handphone, and others might change computer. It is better to safekeep the PAPERCOPY of the Offer Letter.
